MaltaPilot ("we", "us", "our") is a digital platform operated from Malta that helps third-country nationals (TCNs) navigate the Maltese immigration and work permit process. Our services include booking radar alerts, document management, form auto-fill tools, insurance comparison, housing verification, and employer management tools.
By accessing or using maltapilot.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MaltaPilot. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and you agree to keep it up to date.
You may register using email/password or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, contain false information, or are used for fraudulent purposes.
MaltaPilot provides the following services across different subscription tiers:
Starter (Free): Document checklists, government links, clinic directory, community forum, guide wizard, basic countdowns.
Essential (€3.99/month): Everything in Starter plus booking radar alerts, push notifications, smart countdown alerts, housing authority checks, STR verification, and document expiry reminders.
Premium (€7.99/month): Everything in Essential plus SMS alerts, priority radar scans, landlord background checks, expert forum replies, document vault (2GB), and renewal auto-fill.
Employer Hub (€4.99/employee/month): Employee permit dashboard, compliance tracking, booking queue, bulk employee management, document vault per employee.
We are not Identità Malta. MaltaPilot is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Identità Malta, the Malta Government, the Housing Authority, or any other government body. All government form submissions must be done through official channels.
Not legal or immigration advice. The information on MaltaPilot is for general guidance only and does not constitute legal, immigration, or professional advice. We recommend consulting a qualified immigration lawyer for specific situations.
Booking radar. Our radar scans Identità booking systems for available slots and notifies you. We do not guarantee slot availability, and slots may be taken by the time you attempt to book. We never auto-book on your behalf — all bookings are made by you directly on official government websites.
Form auto-fill. Our PDF form filler pre-populates official Identità forms with your data. You are responsible for verifying all information before submission. MaltaPilot is not responsible for errors in submitted forms.
Insurance comparison. Insurance provider listings are for informational purposes only. We do not sell insurance products or act as insurance brokers. Pricing is approximate and subject to change by the respective insurance companies.
Landlord checks. Community landlord reports are user-generated and unverified. MaltaPilot does not guarantee the accuracy of reports. The lease red-flag checker provides general guidance based on Maltese rental law but is not a substitute for legal advice.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.
Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of initial purchase, in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations. Contact support@maltapilot.com for refund requests.
Price changes: We may adjust subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Employer billing: Employer Hub subscriptions are billed per employee per month. The total monthly charge equals the number of active employees multiplied by €4.99.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to MaltaPilot (documents, forum posts, reports). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide our services.
You must not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.
Forum posts and landlord reports may be visible to other users. Do not share personal identification numbers, bank details, or other sensitive information in public areas of the platform.
Documents uploaded to the vault are stored securely using encrypted cloud storage (Backblaze B2). Storage limits apply based on your subscription tier (500MB for Starter/Essential, 2GB for Premium).
We are not responsible for data loss due to circumstances beyond our control. We recommend maintaining your own backups of important documents.
All content, design, code, and branding on MaltaPilot is owned by us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Official Identità forms remain the property of the Malta Government. MaltaPilot's form auto-fill feature is a convenience tool that does not claim ownership over government documents.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaltaPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen downtime may occur.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@maltapilot.com. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
